The Brandywine Festival is an official Middle-earth Live Action Role-Play (LARP) experience, licensed by Middle-earth Enterprises and produced by Burgschneider under the Middle-earth Adventures banner. A fully immersive multi-day event set in The Shire, it welcomes up to 1,000 guests who arrive, live, and feast as Hobbits of their own creation.
The Brandywine Festival is an official Middle-earth Live Action Role-Play (LARP) experience — licensed by Middle-earth Enterprises and produced by Burgschneider under the Middle-earth Adventures banner. A fully immersive, multi-day celebration set in The Shire, it invites up to 1,000 guests to arrive as Hobbits of their own creation and spend the weekend living, feasting, and making music together. From the moment guests arrive, the modern world gently fades — replaced by lantern-lit lanes, woodsmoke, and living folk music. No experience is needed; first-timers are warmly welcomed. The festival runs at Terrapin Hill Farm in Harrodsburg, Kentucky (1–4 October 2026) and at Weston Park, near Telford in England (9–13 September 2026).
